Our Clinic
Harbourside Oral and Facial Surgery Centre take great pride in bringing their patients the latest in technologically advanced, comfort-oriented oral and maxillofacial surgical care. Our independently inspected outpatient surgical facility is equipped with modern specialized equipment. It is staffed with a highly trained, experienced, compassionate team of caring professionals. Our surgical-anesthetic suites are inspected and approved by the BC College of Dental Surgeons. Patients undergoing surgical procedures in our clinic are constantly monitored by qualified, certified staff to ensure optimal care and safety. Any procedure that can be safely done on an outpatient basis can be safely done in our clinic setting, avoiding potentially inconvenient and time-consuming hospitalization.
Meet Dr. Sowden
Dr. David Sowden grew up in the Lower Mainland. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Dental degree from UBC, following which he attended the University of Texas Health Science Centre for his 6 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. During his residency, he completed Medical School and a one year General Surgery internship. Dr. Sowden returned to North Vancouver in 2005 and chose a beautiful North Vancouver waterfront location for his patients.
